Finale allows you to specify any combination
of the score and/or parts for printing in the Print
dialog box. (When Print is chosen from the File menu, this
dialog box automatically appears prior to displaying the Print dialog box.) In the score/parts
list box, you can also specify the number of copies for each item selected.
When multiple items are checked, upon printing, Finale automatically collates,
batch printing each selection as if it were its own print job.
Finale is designed to allow you to easily
print any number of parts from the main project document.
- Choose File > Print. The
Print dialog box appears. The score and all parts are listed in the Parts/Score
window.
- Check the parts (and/or score) you would like
to print. Note that if you would like to print a different orientation
for your score than the parts in the same print session (as specified
in Finale’s Page Format for Score and
Page Format for Parts dialog boxes),
ensure Use Finale’s Page Orientation Instead of the Printer’s Page Orientation
is checked in Program Options - Save and Print. Two print sessions will be required (one for each
part/score in landscape and one for each part/score in portrait).
- Click OK. Finale proceeds to print the
score/parts, one by one.
