Select a region of music with the Selection tool and choose Plug-ins > Note, Beam, and Rest Editing > Alpha Notes or Alpha Notes – Northern European.
This plug-in allows you to instantly apply lettered noteheads to your music (in the Finale AlphaNotes font) based on the pitch of existing notes, including accidentals. The lettered noteheads are always based on the concert pitch. If the pitch of lettered noteheads is changed after the plug-in has been applyed, the original letters remain. Re-apply the plug-in to the region at any time to update to the correct pitch letters.
Alpha Notes – Northern European applies "B" for pitches of Bb and "H" for pitches of B.
