Choose Export to save a Finale document in XML format. MusicXML files can be opened in other music programs as well as earlier versions of Finale.
Finale can export MusicXML 2.0 files, MusicXML 1.1 files (for use with Finale 2006 and 2007), as well as MusicXML 1.0 files (for use with Finale 2003 to 2005 on Windows).
