Page Layout tool
This tool lets you
define the page layout for your file, including the page size, size of
the page margins, and the positioning of the systems on each page.
The Page Layout menu appears (and you switch
to Page View, if you're not already there) when you click the Page Layout
Tool. This menu contains commands for grouping measures on a line,
editing staff systems and page margins, and managing other layout considerations.

Special mouse clicks
- Drag
a
to resize the page margins or system margins.
- Drag
in the middle of a system to change the position without changing
the shape, useful when you want to move the first system down without
changing the height of the system.
- Click
and drag to enclose and select system handles; SHIFT-click to add
handle selection.
- Hold
down
CTRL
and drag the center of a staff system to move the
staff system without moving other systems.
- CTRLA
to select all system handles.
Contextual Menus
Contextual menus are reached by right-clicking on the handle of an
object or within a system. A contextual menu will be displayed where you
can select various items.
